Summer's end - Memory Monday 9/7/2020

Good day and Happy Labor Day from Sandbridge Beach! This day which typically marks the unofficial end of the summer season is definitely not the end this year.

Still going strong

2020 has been a very unusual year for all of us, and indeed today makes us think that the summer vacationing season is also unusual. Labor day is typically a day where things would start to slow down, kids would be heading back to school this week, and fewer people would be on the beach.

That is not the case this year. Things are not slowing down at Sandbridge this year. Kids are going back to school virtually. The beaches are still going to be well used for at least the next month. The summer season has been extended in 2020 at least through the end of September.

Sandbridge Blue is experiencing heavy bookings each week into mid-October. We are thrilled that with many people and students working virtually now, that means that a beach "flex-cation" is working into many people's schedule.

This week's Memory Monday photo submission comes to us from Jodi Wright of Orrtanna, Pennsylvania who stayed with Sandbridge blue in August at the vacation rental "Mint To Be." The photo shows the end of a great day in Sandbridge.

End
Firefly Attack

We thank Jodi for her photo memory of her stay with us and we look forward to serving her and her friends and family again soon.

All the best from the beach!
