Answer: Dogs are only allowed in our pet-friendly rentals, but if no results are showing for your specified date search, you might want to browse our alternative check-in day properties, or our Short Stay rental properties.

Question: How Many Dogs are Allowed in Pet-Friendly Sandbridge Beach Rentals?

Answer: At Sandbridge Blue, our dog-friendly rentals have a limit of no more than two housebroken dogs weighing up to 75 pounds each. Please keep in mind that bringing a dog to a non-pet-friendly house is strictly forbidden and will result in eviction.

Question: Are Dogs Allowed on Sandbridge Beach?

Answer: Dogs are welcome on the public beaches and boardwalk any time before Memorial Day and after Labor Day weekend annually, this is considered the off season for Virginia Beach. During the summer months, pets are allowed on the beach at the north end above 42nd Street or the south end (Sandbridge) before 10 a.m. and after 6.p.m. Dogs are allowed on the boardwalk during the same time restrictions.

Question: Are There Trails and Hikes in Sandbridge Beach that Are Dog-Friendly?

Answer: Yes—there are several dog-friendly trails and hiking areas near Sandbridge Beach, but it’s important to know where pets are allowed (and where they’re not).

False Cape State Park - Dogs are allowed in the park year-round and in the refuge during the month of October. Dogs must be leashed and cleaned up after at all times.

First Landing State Park - For day use, dogs are allowed in the park at no additional fee. They are also allowed throughout the park and the beach as long as they are under the owner's control, on a maximum of a 6 foot leash, and cleaned up after. Proof of rabies vaccination is required for all dogs in Virginia Beach.

Bayville Farms Park - This one acre dog park has separate sections for both large and small dogs. An annual registration fee of $15 is required along with a valid rabies vaccination. To obtain a collar tag, just visit the park office.

Question: Are There Any Pet Supply Stores in Sandbridge Beach?
