Six bedrooms and 3 bathrooms will give you room to spread out or let everyone gather in the open living room, kitchen and dining area. Joy Seas provides you with ocean views to the east. A screened-in porch gives you the perfect setting and ocean view for dinner after you have spent the day at the beach or at your own L-shaped private pool. You can sit on the deck to watch the sunset as the kids enjoy the pool, with a wading area for the little ones and a love seat for two. A lower-level covered deck with a Tiki Bar by the pool creates a fun family gathering place to swim, socialize, and relax while watching a game of water volleyball or water polo. Outside activities include a 30' x 50' sand volleyball court, pool volleyball, basketball hoop, outdoor ping pong table, and horseshoes. Easy access to the beach, and just minutes away from family-friendly restaurants and bars, and Little Island State Park.

Private Pools are open from May 3, 2024 until October 12, 2024, and May 2, 2025 until October 11, 2025. Pool heat is not an option for this property. Fireplace seen in photos is non-functioning and not available for use.

All Sandbridge Blue properties provide bed linens and bath towels for a small fee added to every reservation. We provide 1 bath towel and washcloth per advertised occupant. We provide 1 hand towel and 1 bar of soap per bathroom sink. We also provide kitchen towels. Beds are made prior to your arrival, and we provide a starter supply of toilet paper, bathroom soap, paper towels, and dishwasher detergent.

Joy Seas Never Disappoints!

Our household, plus a variety of friends and additional family, has been enjoying our stays at Joy Seas for several years. It is the perfect Sandbridge beach home (note I didn’t use the word house), as it has easy beach access plus the best pool in the area AND a tiki bar! There are so many places inside & out to gather with either your entire group or smaller sub-groups: the open-concept kitchen/living/dining room, the basement “game” room/movie spot, the screen porch, either deck - one facing the ocean and one to catch awesome sunsets, plus some of the more “active” amenities of covered outdoor ping pong table, the horseshoe pit, the basketball goal, the volleyball court…who knew that you could relive your glory days of fierce competition while away at the beach? For our needs, this house has everything….the kitchen is well-outfitted with plenty of cooking and serve ware to utilize inside and out and there is ample fridge space with easy access from any level, in & out. Speaking of outside - the outdoor shower (updated in the past couple of years) is great! Seriously, this home is so welcoming for all ages, and offers up many games, books and movies if your outdoor plans are foiled. The owner has made continual upgrades over the years that we’ve been renting, and somehow still continues to come up with additional ways to improve it. A very personal touch is the goody basket which arrives during your stay…it’s such a thoughtful gesture from the owner, who truly is interested in having you enjoy your stay in the home found on this little slice of seashore heaven in Virginia. If you’re on the fence about whether this property will suit your needs - it absolutely will do that, and likely will exceed them. We count the days until we can return each year to make more spectacular Sandbridge memories.

Joy at the Beach

My family and I had a wonderful time at Joy Seas!! The house is located very close to the beach, with a view from the living room and front deck. There is plenty of space indoors and a variety of outdoor spots to hang out. The house has a homey feel - even offering board games, puzzles, and a variety of books and movies. The private pool, basketball goal, and volleyball net are great for outdoor fun. The thoughtful gift from the owner was a nice added touch. We plan to visit again!!!
