LI3008-Livin' the Dream

We stayed at LI3008 Livin’ The Dream during the second week of June 2025. After thoroughly researching our options, we were delighted to find the home exactly as pictured on the Sandbridge Blue website when we arrived. The property sits on a quiet street, just a few houses from two local churches and about a mile from the Sandbridge Market, two ice cream shops, and two gift shops. The exterior was clean, well maintained, and inviting, with ample parking for six vehicles and convenient keyless front door entry. Outdoor Spaces All of the outdoor furniture was in excellent condition, with clean cushions and a variety of seating—chaise lounges, Adirondack chairs, upright chairs, and small tables—spread across the front porch, decks, pool area, and grilling area. There were also three large dining tables outside. The grill worked perfectly, and the owners provided three propane tanks. The pool was a highlight of our stay—clean, comfortably warm despite not being heated, and stocked with two floats that were used daily. About ten large pool towels were provided. The only minor drawback was that the pool light was not working; a maintenance worker confirmed it would need to be replaced at a later date. While the rear of the property faces busy Sandpiper Road, a tall vinyl privacy fence ensured complete privacy from passing traffic. There are four exterior decks, all in good condition and generously sized. The third-story deck offered the advertised ocean glimpses plus a beautiful panoramic view of the Sandbridge area. Interior Inside, the home was spotless, fresh-smelling, and free of any “pet” odors, despite being dog-friendly (we brought our own dog). The house was spacious, the air conditioning kept everything cool, and all the furniture was comfortable and in excellent condition. The game room was great fun, with well-maintained video games, a pool table, and a handy refrigerator. The washer and dryer worked well, and laundry powder was provided to get us started. Beds, linens, and pillows were all very comfortable, with plenty of extra pillows and blankets. Ceiling fans in the bedrooms were a nice touch. Bathrooms were clean, well maintained, and stocked with quality towels, washcloths, bathmats, mini bars of soap, and a starter roll of toilet paper. Water pressure was strong, hot water was plentiful, and the jetted tub in the master bath worked perfectly—an enjoyable way to end the day. Kitchen & Living Areas The kitchen was extremely well stocked with plates, bowls, glasses, mugs, silverware, pots, pans, and more than enough seating. Appliances worked well, including the Keurig, toaster, ice maker, and other small appliances. The owners also provided a crock pot, hand mixer, souvenir cups, bottle cozies, dish detergent, sponges, dish rags, and paper towels to get you started. The living room was spacious and comfortable, with two large couches, a big smart TV, and a ceiling fan that kept the room cool. Overall Without hesitation, we highly recommend Livin’ The Dream for anyone seeking a peaceful, relaxing getaway. We were thoroughly pleased with our stay and have already re-booked for October 2025.

Livin the Dream is a spacious vacation rental with an amazing layout and stellar amenities! As with most Sandbridge vacation rentals, it is showing its age (the floor from the kitchen to the living area is quite uneven and the decking and outdoor stair structures need some work). But the amenities and details! Wow! The kitchen cabinets are labeled and well stocked! The light switches are labeled (most are-we never located the ON/OFF for the light in the pool) and the closets and dresses are plentiful and roomy. And the pool-everyone enjoyed it all week long in addition to getting on the beach a short walk away. The game room in the garage provided hours of fun after the sun went down. This house is also stocked with books, puzzles and games for vacationers of all ages too. The added bonus was the attentiveness of Cindy Kramer and her team. We arrived at the house to find a lovely handwritten note not only welcoming us but it came with a cake and good wishes for our 40th anniversary! The team kept in touch with us through out the week with texts about the weather alerts and impending visits from the pool and AC maintenance folks. This was our 4th rental with Sandbridge Blue- we will continue to book from their inventory as the whole experience is topnotch!
