Tropical Storm Hermine Update #2

Winds and Rain hitting Sandbridge hard (9/3/16  2 PM)Tropical Storm Hermine has moved offshore to our south, but continues to cause issues in Sandbridge.At 2 PM Tropical Storm Hermine was located 90 miles East Northeast of Duck, North Carolina and was moving to the Northeast at 10 MPH.   Sustained winds in the storm were 70 MPH and the storm was intensifying since it moved over water.Road conditions are passable, but heavy rain in the area has caused some ponding on roads so motorists should use extreme caution and patience today.If you are an arriving guest we also urge caution and patience in your travels.   Travel times to the area will be longer today as a result of the storm.
