Waiting and watching
As like everyone else in the Southeast U.S. we are watching closely the forecast track of Hurricane Matthew. As of early this morning (10/5/16) Hurricane Matthew is rated a category 3 hurricane with winds in excess of 115 MPH and is located south of the Bahamas. The storm’s projected path shows the storm moving up the east coast of the U.S. moving parallel to the coast off of Florida, Georgia and South Carolina.

Tropical Storm Hermine has moved offshore to our south, but continues to cause issues in Sandbridge.

Tropical Storm warnings have been issued for all of Virginia Beach including Sandbridge and the effects of the storm is definitely being felt in our area.
President Obama to reverse decision on offshore drilling!
The New York Times reported Monday evening that the Obama administration is set to announce today that they have reversed their earlier position and have decided to withdraw their plan for offshore drilling permitting on the Southeast coast.

whole new meaning in the last few days in this area. So now, not only is Sandbridge Blue a
leading vacation rental firm in the area – evidently it also now describes the water!

state in the nation that will be harnessing the power of offshore wind.
New Grocery Option in Sandbridge About to Open
We’ve been watching it grow since the first piece of heavy equipment was unloaded on the
site, and now we understand that new Harris Teeter grocery store is about to open across the street from our
office.
In an announcement distributed this week Harris Teeter announced that their 54,000 square
foot building which has been growing before our eyes over the last few months will be opening soon.
